Who we are
Outdoor Adventurers is a unique full day preschool based program for 3-5 year olds with an emphasis on outdoor learning each day.
At Outdoor Adventurers we believe children need to be outside in nature everyday, rain or shine, Where they can explore, jump in puddles, make mud, breath deeply, grow freely and discover the world around them.
We have morning outings to our learning forest, community parks and gardens, places in our neighbourhood, and our large back yard everyday regardless of the weather. We learn in the sun, rain and snow.
During our indoor time, the children will enjoy free play, activity centers, large group circle time with songs, stories and open discussions. Dramatic play, yoga, music, literacy, math, science, and arts & crafts are a part of the day, plus much more.
Outdoor Adventurers believes in fostering independence in a safe and nurturing environment. From simple tasks like putting on their own shoes and hanging up their backpacks to the classroom helper setting out the water bottles at snack time, a child's confidence grows with every step they make towards self-reliance.
